This 44-meter steel Gaff-rigged Schooner, built by the Polish shipyard VACE in 2000 and launched in 2002, is for sale in Portugal.


The Schooner 143 MEPHISTO was built in 2000 by Choren Design & Consulting with a vision of perfection, elegance, and strength. The first owner was a world-renowned German who chose the shipyards of Gdansk in Poland to build the custom vessel. The interior furnishings were installed in Germany. Fully renovated in 2010, with refurbishments, enhancements, and maintenance work carried out in 2012. The MEPHISTO's crew consists of 6 to 7 people who can accommodate up to 14 passengers.




EQUIPMENT

The Yacht MEPHISTO was built from 2000 to 2002 by Choren Design & Consulting with a strong vision for perfection, elegance, and strength. The first owner was a globally renowned German personality who chose the shipyards of Gdansk in Poland for the construction of the vessel, while the interior fittings were done in Germany. The shipyards of Gdansk gained international recognition when the independent trade union SOLIDARNOSC was founded there by Lech WALESA, who later became the President of the Republic of Poland in 1990. This gaff-rigged schooner was built as a custom unit with meticulous attention to detail and was fully renovated in 2010, with additional transformation, enhancements, beautification, and maintenance work carried out in 2012/2013/2014.
The hull is constructed of steel, and the superstructure is primarily made of steel. With a width of 8.1m / 26.6ft, this sailboat offers ample space. It underwent a refit in 2016, including revised air conditioning, suite modifications (complete renovation transforming twin beds into double beds), dining room and salon transformation, teak deck repairs, complete hull repaint, dining room expansion on the deck, maintenance, and a comprehensive engine overhaul.

MEPHISTO can accommodate 12 people on a cruise, and you will notice that there are two cabins with:
° The Master bedroom offers absolute comfort, a lounge area (with minibar), a desk, and a spacious bedroom with one double bed and one single bed for a child. It also includes an en-suite bathroom with rotating jets, a toilet, a wardrobe with a safe.
° Two other cabins with a double bed, one of which has an additional bed, and three cabins with two separate beds, each with en-suite bathrooms featuring rotating jets, a toilet, a mini lounge, a wardrobe, and a safe.
° All six cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with a TV screen and a DVD player.
