Dufour 34 Performance – a very well- mannered cruiser with a good turn of speed, manoeuvrable in close quarters and extremely comfortable below. Easily sailed with a shorthanded crew, easily sailed single handed, ideal for the sailor with a thirst for quick passages. Many upgrades and updates includes, Upgraded engine to standard, Solid rod rigging, Hull scrapped back and re-epoxied, Saildrive seal replaced, new Solar panel with regulator, new Panair diesel hot air heating system, new Sprayhood Frame and Fabric and more. Construction

Hand laminated GRP hull, vacuum bagged

PVC foam core sandwich above water line

NPG Gelcoat with first layer of cloth impregnated with NPG resin forming an optimum barrier against osmosis

Inner moulded hull bottom, structural framing laminated to the hull

PVC foam core sandwich, moulded by injection process (Resin Transfer Moulding) for significant weight saving and excellent interior finish.

Kookaburra is a very well- mannered cruiser with a good turn of speed, very manoeuvrable in close quarters and extremely comfortable below. Easily sailed with a shorthanded crew, easily sailed single handed. A change of plan with our sailing requirements is the reason for selling, but she will be greatly missed.
