A very nice pair of JCB Mermaid engines built and delivered in 2018 that were only installed for a few years before being switched for larger engines earlier this year due to the role of the vessel changing.







Running hours just under 2000 from new.







Currently offered as engines with instruments only. The original gearboxes were re-deployed onto the customer's new engines. We can however offer a wide range of new and used gearboxes if required.







Electrics are 24V.







The retail price of each engine ex gearbox was over £10,000 VAT each when new.







Now offered for the bargain price of £5350 VAT per unit.







The engines have been test run and serviced by our workshops and found to be in excellent order as would be expected from engines that haven't even done two years in service.







Masses of torque from these 4.4L units producing 85hp at only 2200rpm. The fuel systems are mechanical so no complicated wiring, commonrail injection or ECU to worry about.
